TIME Mag Forced to Edit Israel Blood Libel

Early Sunday morning it was found that Time magazine had included in one of its video reports the lie that Israeli soldiers were selling the organs of dead Palestinians on the black market. To its credit, by that afternoon the magazine had apologized and edited out the classic blood libel claim.

Media watchdogs HonestReporting.com had discovered the lie in a Time-produced video on the history of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). The video was appended to an Associated Press report on a recent Israeli air strike in Gaza.

At one point in the video, Time insisted that "the IDF is not without controversy."

As an example of such "controversy," the video goes on to say, "in 2009 a Swedish report came out exposing some Israeli troops of selling organs of Palestinians who died in their custody."

But, the fact is there was no such exposé. In truth, the claim in the Swedish newspaper was revealed to be a fraud.

"The reference is to a completely made up tabloid style article in an obscure Swedish paper, that even the author admitted was not based on any evidence," said Honest Reporting, adding that the repetition of the myth was entirely predictable at the time: "Unfortunately, we also wrote at the time that despite the author’s own admission that he had no evidence to back up his horrendous accusation, the story would continue spreading."

On top of all that, HonestReporting also found that "the story was further undermined as one of the Palestinian families interviewed said they never told any reporter that their son was missing organs."

After HonestReporting exposed these facts, Time magazine did the right thing and edited out the false claims from its video. The magazine also posted the following notice of the correction at the end of the video:

Correction: The original version of this video cited a contested allegation in a 2009 Swedish newspaper report as fact. The allegation has been removed from the video.

It is good that the magazine excised this lie from its video and also good that it owned up to the edit instead of just quietly sending it away.

But that this un-sourced lie was so easy for Time's reporters to believe and that they so quickly included the lie in their report without bothering to check it – that really shows the anti-Israeli bias at the heart of the media.

Time Magazine is just another Antisemitic rag, that keeps publishing old regurgitated hate.

His record for ambiguity and dullness reached a nadir of exasperation in remarks about the beheading by ISIS -- which he calls ISIL -- of American journalist James Foley.

Ex-Saudi Intelligence Chief Blames Hamas for Gaza Deaths

The former Saudi intelligence head, Turki al Faisal, publicly blames Hamas for Israel's military campaign in Gaza and the resulting casualties.

Al Faisal's comments came in an interview published Sunday by Al-Sharq-al-Awsat that were then reported in English by the website Algemeiner.

"Hamas is responsible for the slaughter in the Gaza Strip following its bad decisions in the past, and the haughtiness it shows by firing useless rockets at Israel, which contribute nothing to the Palestinian interest," Faisal said.

This increasingly anti-Hamas sentiment is shared by various other Arab writers and officials.

Women Volunteer for Sexual Jihad with Islamic State

Records show that Australian, British, and Malaysian women travel to Iraq and Syria to participate in jihad al-nikah, or sexual jihad, for the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists. They intend to become comfort women for the jihadists as the men continue to establish a Caliphate in Iraq and Syria.

"These women are believed to have offered themselves in sexual comfort roles to ISIS fighters who are attempting to establish Islamic rule in the Middle East,” said one source in Malaysia, adding, "This concept may seem controversial but it has arisen as certain Muslim women here are showing sympathy for the ISIS struggle."

"Checks with our foreign counterparts and intelligence disseminated reveal that there may be up to 50 Malaysians in the Middle East," he said.

The official shared information with Britain and Australia. Numbers from those countries show hundreds of men fight with ISIS, but also women who left because of sexual jihad.

"This figure also includes British Muslim women who are not fighting on the front line, but are still involved by performing sexual jihad,” said the source. “Australian intelligence officials have revealed that more than 100 Australian Muslims are in Syria fighting alongside ISIS.”

In 2013, a Wahhabi edict asked Sunni women to offer themselves as comfort women “to boost the morale of fighters”

Obama's 'no strategy' gaffe may become the 'read my lips' signature of a failed presidency

Let’s cut President Obama some slack. Golf is a challenging game, and he has been focused like a laser (as Bill Clinton used to say) on improving his game on Martha’s Vineyard, and there’s only so much a guy can do. Coming up with a strategy for dealing with guys who are the junior varsity can wait – and after all there are three fundraisers and a wedding beckoning this holiday weekend, so what’s the hurry?

Unfortunately for any residual desire of President Obama’s desire to be seen as a serous leader, the above sarcastic apologia fits his pattern of behavior in office like a proverbial glove. He has already established himself as a man who dithers when important decisions loom, and his devotion to fun and games and fundraising is far more characteristic in the public eye than any seriousness about the weighty responsibilities of his office. In foreign policy, he has been reactive, with no clear positive goals for the United States. Even Hillary Clinton has gone on the record saying that “Don’t do stupid s*#t” is not an adequate vision.

For those who have not been paying attention to the news: yesterday, speaking without a teleprompter at a pre-Labor Day weekend press conference, committed a classic Washington gaffe, accidentally telling the truth. Responding to a question on whether he would seek Congressional approval for action against ISIS in Syria, he admitted (full transcript here):

It is true that Yiddish, its etymological origins, Shmock first means "penis". Yes, the word Schmock Yiddish refers directly the penis or at least the piece of foreskin that is removed from a penis after circumcision.

Woww if an answer in english is expected from me, I am in a big problem because first I didn't know that "shmock" means penis or what you specified as the little piece removed from the penis after the circumcision, and secondly, I wouldn't use that word for that senile man because I am not sure that he is still in possession of, non only a clear mind but particularly that "complete shmock" mentioned by you.

On a December night in 2011, a terrible thing happened on Mount Cudi, near the Turkish-Iraqi border. One side described it as a massacre; the other called it an accident.

Several Turkish F-16 fighter jets bombed a caravan of villagers that night, apparently under the belief that they were guerilla fighters with the separatist Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK). The group was returning from northern Iraq and their mules were loaded down with fuel canisters and other cargo. They turned out to be smugglers, not PKK fighters. Some 34 people died in the attack.

An American Predator drone flying overhead had detected the group, prompting U.S. analysts to alert their Turkish partners.
